Israel has identified the bodies of four deceased hostages which were returned by Hamas on Monday as part of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
The Israeli military named two of the hostages as Guy Illouz, a 26-year-old Israeli and Bipin Joshi, a Nepalese citizen who was 23.
Later, the two other hostages were named by their families as Yossi Sharabi, a 53-year-old Israeli and Daniel Peretz, 22, Israeli-South African dual national.
Israeli officials say that the government would restrict the entry of aid into Gaza and delay the reopening of the Rafah border crossing with Egypt over Hamas’s failure to hand over the bodies of the 24 other dead hostages.
