Egypt says its Gaza reconstruction plan that avoids a forcible expulsion is complete and will be presented to Arabian allies Wednesday.
US King Donald Trump has the craven states in the region hopping after suggesting the Gazans be forcibly displaced and Gaza turned into a luxury vacation strip for Israelis and tourists.
Egyptian foreign minister Badr Abdelatty said Tuesday they would hold “intensive talks” with donor countries once the plan is adopted. Talks and endless conferences over the last century have failed to produce a plan that works, but they’re hoping the intensiveness of the talks will make a difference this time.
Ploughing bad taste
Nazi Israel meanwhile is laughing along with Trump and South African racist Elon Musk over a made-up video that shows them and Israeli fuhrer Benjamin Netanyahu relaxing on beach chairs in a new-look Gaza Riveira.
The video ploughs the deepest troughs of bad taste, perfectly adapted to their followers.
Meanwhile, its weapon stores bulging with 2000pound bombs and another $3billion in emergency funding from the US, Israel has cut talks with Hamas and says phase one of the ceasefire must continue.
Cutting to the chase, Israel is trying to get as many hostages released before turning the screws again on Gaza, while Hamas is trying to get as many concessions out of the Israelis while keeping as many hostages as possible.
Hamas is adamant they need to move to phase two which will see the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza. The Zionazis are showing no inclination to negotiate and have instead cut off all aid supplies into the enclave.
The Arabs are still trying to pretend they’re working in some “old normal” world where genocide is still an anathema in the US and Europe.
“The first phase has concluded successfully, and now we must shift to discussions on the second phase, which is key to sustaining the ceasefire,” Abdelatty said.
Negotiating into a void
“Naturally, it will be difficult, but with goodwill and political determination, it can be achieved.”
Hamas, like Ukraine, is negotiating into a void, with no US security guarantee that will prevent the other side from attacking when the wind changes in their favour.
And the Arab “strong men” know they only retain their seats at the behest of the White House and its arms and money supplies. Quite rightly, the dictators fear a whiplash from the Arab street as Nazi Israel switches its Gaza programme to the West Bank and prepares Gaza II as peace talks falter.
That Israel is straining at the leash, well-fed and lusting for blood, is a factor the Arab “leaders” are pointedly ignoring as they work on their “plan”.
But it was underlined Sunday by Zionazi politician Itamar ben Gvir who gloated over the halt to aid supplies: “The decision has finally been made … better late than never … Now is the time to open the gates of hell, to shut off the electricity and water, to return to war …release all the hostages immediately or hell will break loose on Gaza.”
‘It’s a show’
Haaretz reports government sources say Netanyahu is seeking to sabotage the ceasefire deal: “It’s a show,” said one source. “Netanyahu is signalling quite clearly that he doesn’t want to move to the next phase.”
Finance minister Bezalel Snotrich tweeted his conditions for his right-wing party remaining in coalition with Netanyahu if Hamas had not fallen after 42 days: a return to “intense combat ith additional tools” and an aid blockade.
Middle East Eye reports an Israeli official told Israel’s Channel 12 on Monday the government had set a 10-day deadline for Hamas to release all captives or face a resumption of the genocide.
US Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, at the weekend released a plan for a temporary extension of phase I which would see half of the living captives and half the bodies of those who have died released in exchange for peace.
On Monday, Witkoff said he would fly to the Middle East in the coming days to work out a solution, but there was no indication which way the US was leaning.
Perhaps, Musk’s video says it all.
