World celebrates Gaza ceasefire deal

‘LAST-MINUTE CRISIS’: Netanyahu panics at the brink as criminal prosecutions, jailtime loom in wake of peace

The entire world is celebrating because the Nazi states of America and Israel have decided to do nothing.
They’re pretending their “ceasefire” agreement was the most difficult decision they have had to make after smearing themselves and their global reputation in gore and filth for 468 horrifying days. Accurate estimates put the death toll at about 80 000 people, with Gaza’s health system destroyed.
Indelible stain
The world will never forget.
Demographic modelling multiplies direct genocide death tolls by a minimum of three in wartime – and it’s always wartime in Gaza – which means the final toll of Israel’s homicidal rampage is likely to be at least 240 000 dead.
Without proper rehabilitation – the Israelis have killed 71 Palestinians since allegedly agreeing to a ceasefire already – modelling used by the UN’s refugee agency multiplies direct deaths by 15, which would give a final death toll of 1.2million.
Nations and international agencies welcomed the ceasefire Thursday, with Ansar Allah in Yemen praising the Palestinians for their faith, courage and fortitude in the face of “the most brutal Israeli aggression”.
“We praise with great reverence and honor the legendary steadfastness of Gaza in confronting this unprecedented aggression,” Ansar Allah spokesman Mohammad Abdul-Salam said.
Al Mayadeen reports he expressed deep appreciation for the sacrifices of the Palestinian Resistance, highlighting the martyrdom of prominent leaders like Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar.
“Their sacrifices did not weaken the Resistance; instead, they fought with unparalleled bravery, compelling the enemy to accept a ceasefire,” he said.
Keeping their cake
“Ceasefire” in Israeli terms usually means they continue killing while the other side patiently sits on its hands and continues dying. It’s happening in typical fashion Thursday in Gaza and, across the Lebanon border where the Zionazis have kept up airstrikes almost every day since agreeing to a “ceasefire” almost 60 days ago.
Now, it looks like the Zionazis want to remain in Lebanon (that agreement stipulates the Lawnmowers must depart after 60 days) and Israeli Fuhrer Benjamin Netanyahu is Thursday afternoon refusing to hold a cabinet meeting to ratify the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
Restraint has never been his strong point.
But “do-nothing” Genocide Joe Biden – who smudged “red lines” in cowardly fashion throughout the 15-month genocide, doing nothing every day to prevent the slaughter or to stop the flow of weapons – is apparently in “urgent telephonic discussions” with Netanyahu to sign the deal.
It seems the routine Biden humiliation will continue until the end of his administration. Netanyahu’s last-minute stalling is rubbing the US president’s nose in his own impotence.
How they must be laughing in the Israeli cabinet’s underground bunker Thursday where Netanyhu has revelled in keeping his hand on the murder button.
Netanyahu claimed Thursday Hamas was creating a “last-minute crisis”, but in typical fashion did not elaborate, much in the same way Israel did not back up its claims that staff of UNRWA had participated in Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7 2023.
The White House said it was aware of “the issues”, but said it remained confident they would be overcome.
Getting over the line
“We’re going to get there,” White House spokesman John Kirby said.
Hamas says it remains committed to the deal. “Hamas is committed to the ceasefire agreement, which was announced by the mediators,” Izzat al-Rishq said in a Telegram post.
Sami Abu Zuhri, told Al-Arabiya TV that “there is no basis for Netanyahu’s allegations that the movement has backed down from the terms of the ceasefire agreement.”
He claimed that Israel “wants to create a state of tension at a critical time and we demand that it be obligated to implement the agreement.”
When asked why the deal wasn’t signed months ago, Kirby told NBC News that what had changed was that “Hamas is weaker now and more willing to make a deal”.
It was a blatant lie, exposing a callous disregard for human life or real facts.
Thursday’s ceasefire is almost an exact copy of the agreement on the table that Hamas agreed to last July.
Only Israel’s intransigence and US collusion has delayed the deal’s arrival.
The first hostages will be released under the deal on Sunday which will be the official beginning of the truce, starting with two American hostages and Palestinians in Israeli torture camps.
China and Russia have cautiously welcomed the deal and voiced readiness to aid in reconstruction. They both said they hoped the deal lasts.
Cautious welcome
In Russia, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, “A settlement that leads to a ceasefire and an end to suffering of people in Gaza and that boosts Israel’s security, can only be welcomed.”
“Let’s wait for the process to be finalized,” he told reporters.
Bezalel Snotrich, Israel’s poster boy for Zionazism, was a pastiche of Baptist, Doomsday revivalism, warning ominously: “”We are in the midst of fateful days, faced with a heartbreaking dilemma between the desire to see all the hostages return to us and the fear of the heavy price of the deal and its implications for Israel’s future,” he said on X, warning Israel was facing “a civil war of hatred and division”.
His party, the Religious Zionist Party, is threatening to pull out of the government over the deal – and that is probably the real “last-minute crisis” that Netanyahu is fighting Thursday afternoon.
He’s facing an imminent danger of losing office and the immunity from prosecution for fraud cases that he enjoys as Israel’s premier.
Ignominy and disgrace could be the salient feature of his last days.
