GAZA: Biden’s legacy; Trump’s inheritance

Muhammad Amin
This is Donald Trump’s inheritance as he prepares to take over the trail of blood and trash that is spilling profusely in Joe Biden’s filthy wake – 43 736 murdered Palestinians, 40 000 tons of rubble, a $37trillion federal debt and annual interest payments of $475billion that could exceed America’s total defence spending of $767billion by next year.
Trump’s MAGA camp has signalled it wants to concentrate on containing China, rather than being held back by several “Biden wars” – Ukraine, Syria and Gaza – and wants them “out of the way” by the time he takes office on January 20.
But few “China experts” seem to be filling seats in his cabinet that he is ensuring is packed with Zionist hardliners. It is not shaping up well for Gaza where conditions are as bad as they can get, excluding a nuclear attack.
All hospitals destroyed
But “more of the same” is hardly a comfort for the battered enclave where just one surgeon is reported to still be working in northern Gaza where repeated Israeli attacks have completely destroyed all hospitals. Al-Mayadeen reports UNRWA emergency officer Louise Wateridge says the injured are simply being left to “fend and survive by themselves” while the Nazi state maintains its starvation siege, determined to exterminate anything that moves, including injured children lying helpless on the ground.
This is Trump’ inheritance – and ocean of blood and tears crashing on dust on rubble that once housed a abandoned people’s dreams.
Wateridge told New Yorker magazine northern Gaza’s three hospitals have been targeted repeatedly with air strikes, their doctors have been killed or detained and “bodies are just lying on the ground”.
The Lawnmowers say they had opened the Kisufim crossing to allow aid in, but aid officials says no food has reached northern Gaza 100 000 trapped residents for over a month, Reuters reports.
Gaza Civil Defence spokesman Mahmoud Basal berated the “democratic world” for watching Gaza being slaughtered. Civil defence is overwhelmed with pleas from desperate residents calling for help to recover wounded and martyrs from under the rubble.
Seven families wiped out
And the cruelty continues in open and plain sight, underlining the hypocrisy and moral depravity of the West’s “enabling” nations that have joined, before and after the fact, in common cause with Israel’s Holocaust.
This week, the Lawnmowers massacred seven families in just 24 hours, killing 47 relatives and injuring 182 others.
The Cradle reports In one massacre on Wednesday, at least 10 Palestinians, including children, were killed in an Israeli air attack on a house in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
Al Jazeera added that at least two people were killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza City’s Shujaiya district.
Litany of death
Lawnmowers also bombed a family home, killing eight people, in the “humanitarian area” on the Al-Mawasi sand dune that was thrown together in the midst of the Rafah atrocity earlier this year.
Civil defense teams said dozens of Palestinians were in the house when it was attacked and that several were still trapped under the rubble.
It was the second air strike that day. Israeli forces had also bombed a tent there earlier.
Israel’s killings occurred a day after British surgeon Nizam Mamode, who recently returned from working at a hospital in Gaza, said he treated children “day after day after day“ who had been deliberately shot by Israeli drones following bomb attacks.
The Cradle says, in testimony to British MPs Tuesday, Mamode said that at least once or twice daily, there were “mass casualty incidents,” in which 10 to 20 civilians – the majority children – were killed.
“Drones would come down and pick off civilians, children,” Mamode told members of the International Development Committee in a hearing addressing the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
“This is not an occasional thing. This was day after day after day operating on children who would say, ‘I was lying on the ground after a bomb dropped, and this quadcopter came down and hovered over me and shot me.'”
