The White House continues its Lawnmower-led Holocaust of northern Gaza Monday, promising Tel Aviv rock-solid support as the Biden administration seeks to exterminate all life in the sector.
Al Mayadeen reports the Lawnmowers launched intense strikes with US weapons around the Saftawi area, northwest of Gaza City, and Jabalia refugee camp while continuing their starvation blockade of the “kill zone” for the 17th consecutive day.
The White House has promised Israel all the weapons and support it needs for the next 30 days, after which it “might” restrict weapon supplies if food aid doesn’t come through.
Other than 30 trucks allowed through last week, no further aid has reached the starving civilians of northern Gaza, Middle East Eye reports. At least 26 people have been killed since dawn Monday.
‘Rules don’t apply to Israel’
Aid organisations and international institutions have begged the US to restrain Israel or to end the supply of weaponry to its Holocaust, but they have fallen on deaf ears.
White House special envoy Lisa Grande bluntly told aid organisations last week the Holocaust would go ahead, pointing out Israel was a “special ally” that the US “will never oppose, nor withhold help from”.
“She was saying that the rules don’t apply to Israel,” an aid official who attended the meeting told Politico.
Sources inside Jabalia refugee camp say relentless artillery shelling is ongoing in Jabalia and its surrounding areas, with unknown numbers trapped under the rubble in Jabalia. Their desperate screams for help are heard, but rescuers cannot respond because of the intense shelling.
Two Palestinians were killed and others injured by Israeli artillery fire in the Saftawi area in northern Gaza, while an air strike targeted the western parts of northern Gaza City.
Doctors at Kamal Adwan Hospital say the situation is catastrophic, with medicine and medical supplies completely depleted, Al-Mayadeen reports.
Exterminate Gaza
Middle East Eye says, so far today: Israeli forces are raiding shelters for displaced people, arresting men from each shelter
• Israeli artillery shelled Palestinians leaving the Jabalia refugee camp, on a street it had deemed safe for them to use
• The Kamal Adwan Hospital has run out of shrouds used to cover dead bodies
• Israeli forces have bombed the entrance to the Qleibo school, which houses displaced people in the Sheikh Zayed area in northern Gaza
• Several Palestinians were killed and injured by Israeli forces as they were trying to fill water in Jabalia al-Balad
• The Israeli army targeted a group of Palestinians in the vicinity of Jabalia’s al-Yaman al-Said Hospital, killing at least four people
In central Gaza, Israeli artillery heavily bombarded several areas northwest of Nuseirat refugee camp and opened heavy fire on northern Al-Bureij, in central Gaza.
‘Scorched-earth policy’
Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal says the Lawnmowers are “committing a Holocaust in northern Gaza”, systematically exterminating all civilians and all shelters as it employs siege and starvation against the people of Jabalia, alongside direct killings.
Basal said Israeli forces are blocking rescue efforts for the wounded as they systematically destroy residential buildings in a scorched-earth policy to prevent residents returning.
Basal said the Lawnmowers are setting buildings on fire with residents still inside and demolishing shelters housing displaced people.
He added, “The Israeli occupation is committing a holocaust against Palestinians in northern Gaza. Where are the international organizations regarding the massacres, genocide, destruction, and human rights violations occurring in Gaza?”
Grande, however, was firm last week, telling aid organisations Washington would never “consider withholding weapons from Israel for blocking food and medicine from entering” Gaza, sources at the meeting told Politico.
Famine and terror
Palestinian sources say Gaza is being isolated, besieged, and starved in the most severe way since the genocide started last year, with the Lawnmowers turning to its mechanised 401st and 460th brigades, to churn all life and buildings into gore and dust.
All Palestinian citizens in homes and shelters are living in unprecedented famine and terror since the beginning of this month.”
The Lawnmowers have also bombed most of the water wells in northern Gaza, stressing they will shoot “Anyone trying to reach a limited amount of water.” They have also blown up all diesel supplies needed for hospitals and bakeries.
