Resistance delivers crushing blow as Zionist ‘special forces’ are trapped in bloody ambush

At least four invading Israeli soldiers, including three officers, were killed and four others injured in a carefully laid ambush on the Lebanese border this week, resistance fighters report Thursday.

They said the laid an explosive trap on Tuesday after noticing an advance reconnaissance patrol scouting the area opposite the Lebanese border town of Adaisseh, clearly in preparation for a more substantial infiltration later.

Instead of confronting the advance patrol, the resistance allowed them to thoroughly probe the area, carefully mapping out their route while they did so.

Once the reconnaissance patrol departed, the resistance investigated their trail and planted an explosive device at a spot a follow-on platoon would likely pass during an intended invasion.

Islamic Resistance explained: “The fighters did not confront the reconnaissance force and let it complete its mission and return. Based on the movements and behaviour of this force, the fighters were able to set up an advanced ambush in the Al-Mahafer-Adaisseh area, waiting for the elite forces to enter and take up positions in one of the houses in the area.

“At dawn on Wednesday, a force from the elite enemy army, numbering more than 30 officers and soldiers, began silently infiltrating the ambush area. When the #Israeli force reached the ambush point (not far from the border) and with the call of “Labbaik Ya Nasrallah”, the Mujahideen showered it with a hail of bullets from their light weapons, machine guns and rockets.

“The clash with the force reached zero distance, which caused many dead and wounded among the ranks of the infiltrating force until the soldiers were filled with the number of their dead and wounded and began screaming and wailing.

“Simultaneously, the nearby support groups in the resistance targeted the enemy’s supply lines in Maskaf Am, Kafr Giladi and Matla with mortar shells and rockets, which hindered the arrival of support to the targeted force.

“The Israeli Air Force immediately intervened via helicopters to comb the area with the aim of withdrawing the dead and wounded, and the enemy began firing smoke bombs,” Islamic Resistance said.

It promised “the enemy that what he saw today is only a small sample of what awaits him in every inch of the land of southern Lebanon if he dares to advance, and between us and this enemy are days, nights and the field.”

Israeli media reported a “very unusual and extremely difficult event in the North,” involving the evacuation of casualties from the border using at least four helicopters. The wounded were evacuated to Rambam Hospital in Haifa and Ziv Hospital in Saved who declared a “massive casualty event”.

Heavy shelling continued into Thursday as air raid sirens continued wailing throughout the Jalil panhandle as the resistance pounded the Israeli side amid troop buildups.
