HOW TO TUNE!!!!

Effective as at 30 July 2015 to 30 July 2024

Please Note: Markaz Sahaba DEcoder as well as the Radio Islam Auto Scan decoders do Not require a TV to be reset.

Simply press the Autoscan button, Wait for the ‘ Search ‘ to be completed, the press the ‘ CH- ”

button until the last highest channel numbers appear. Markaz Sahaba will be within the last

10 channels.

Press menu button on Vivid remote

Go down to installation and press OK button

Enter pin code: 1379 and press OK

Go down to signal set up and press OK

Go to signal number 3 and press OK

Make sure Signal 3 is enabled

Go down to frequency if there is a frequency, then press the right arrow button to clear

Change the frequency to 12522.If this does not work then try 12422

Go down to symbol rate – if there is a number then press right arrow button to clear

Enter 27500 at symbol rate

Polarization must be vertical

FEC must be 7/8 press OK

Notice Signal intensity will be between normal to good

Press the exit button

Go down to tune DSD press OK

Press Music button on remote and look for Markaz Sahaba.

Press menu button of the GOD remote

Go to TP settings/ press right arrow button until TP setting appear

Press OK on ADD TP

Change TP frequency to 12522 If this does not work then try 12422

Change symbol rate to 27500

Polarization must be vertical

Press OK to scan

Press OK again to store

Press Exit button twice

Press Radio TV button to access Markaz Sahaba.

Modek

Connect the decoder to a TV unit and use the TV remote to select the AV Channel until you find the Radio TV Picture.

Now use the Modek Remote control Only.

Press Menu – go to User Installation

Select Channel Search and press OK

Now press the red Audio Button on your remote

The Transponder must be TP48, if not, then press the right arrow button until TP48 appears.

Press the RED audio button on the remote and change the frequency to 12522.If this does not work then try 12422.

Now go to SYMBOL RATE

Change the SYMBOL RATE to 27500

You will notice a yellow bar on the right hand side signal strength and quality

If this is not yellow, then check if your ANTENNA (at the back of the decoder) is plugged into LNB IN (not LNB OUT)

Now go to SEARCH 1 SAT FTA $

Now press the left arrow button three (3) times

The display must show SEARCH TP FTA (must not show SEARCH TP FTA $)

Press OK for scanning

After the scanning is completed, the word VIEW will appear. Select VIEW

Now a message ‘Please wait for saving data’ will appear

A TV channel will be displayed on your TV screen

Now press TV/RADIO button which is situated directly beneath the number 7 button

Markaz Sahaba.

Change the frequency to 12522. If this does not work, then try 12422.

Change symbol rate to 27500

Polarization must be vertical

Press OK to scan

Press OK again to store

Press Exit button twice

Press Radio TV button to access Look for Markaz Sahaba

Modek Model: ZBR 786

Connect the decoder to a TV unit and use the TV remote to select the AV Channel until you find the Radio Islam Picture.

Now use the Modek remote ONLY

Press Menu – go to User Installation

Select Channel Search and press OK

Scroll down to Transponder

The Transponder must be TP48, if not, then press the right arrow button until TP48 appears.

Now press the Red Audio Button on your remote.

Scroll down to Frequency and enter 12522.If this does not work then try 12422.

Now go to SYMBOL RATE

Change the SYMBOL RATE to 27500

You will notice a yellow bar on the right hand side signal strength and quality

If this is not yellow, then check if your ANTENNA (at the back of the decoder) is plugged into LNB IN (not LNB OUT)

Now go to SEARCH 1 SAT FTA $

Now press the left arrow button three (3) times

The display must show SEARCH TP FTA (must not show SEARCH TP FTA $)

Press OK for scanning

After the scanning is completed, the word VIEW will appear. Select VIEW

Now a message ‘Please wait for saving data’ will appear

A TV channel will be displayed on your TV screen

Now press TV / RADIO button which is situated directly beneath the number 7 button

You will see ‘Islam’ – Press your PR- button on your remote and look for Markaz Sahaba.

To move Markaz Sahaba to postion 1 press MENU, go to channel manager, select Radio Channel, and press OK

Your TV display will show RADIO CHANNELS

Go to arkaz Sahaba and press the Yellow button on the Remote.The Word MOVE will appear. Then press OK.

An arrow will appear next to Markaz Sahaba .Now press the down arrow button and scroll to position number 1 and press OK

Press the EXIT button twice

Press menu button on the Strong remote

Press right arrow button until installation appears

Press down arrow button until you reach transponder list and then press OK

Go down to edit transponder and press OK

Change the frequency to 12522. If this does not work then try 12422.

Press the yellow button on the remote to edit.

Go down to symbol rate and enter 27500

Polarity must be vertical

Go to save and press OK

Press the red button on the remote to scan.

Scan mode: press the right arrow button to change to FTA then press OK

Press OK to save

Press exit 3 times then press TV radio button on remote to go to Radio channels

If you want to move Markaz Sahaba to number 1 then press the menu button and go to channel manager.

Go down to move channel

Press the yellow button on the remote then move to will displayed.

Press number 1 on remote and OK and then exit 3 times

Strong SR3000

Connect the decoder to a TV unit and use the TV remote to select the AV Channel until you find the Radio Islam Picture.

Press menu on your Strong Remote.

On the top-left of the Menu Bar the word ‘CHANNEL’ will appear – If the word ‘CHANNEL’ does NOT appear, then press the right/left arrow button untill the word ‘CHANNEL’ appears.

The following will show:

* TV Channel

* Radio Channel

* Add Channel

Scroll down to ‘ADD CHANNEL’ and press OK on your Strong Remote.

Change the frequency to 12522. If this does not work then try 12422.

Now go down to SYMBOL RATE and type-in 27500 and press OK.

Scroll down to the word SEARCH and press the right arrow button until the word RADIO appears. ( * Notice the bar in ‘SIGNAL QUALITY’ will change green in colour.) Now press OK… search will start…

When search is over press OK.

Now press the exit button once only.

Scroll up to ‘RADIO CHANNEL’ and press OK.

Scroll UP / DOWN and look for Markaz Sahaba. (* Note: RIslam_33k on number 1 will NOT work because that was the old settings.)

Move Markaz Sahaba to number 1 by pressing button number 2 (Pin Code 0000) and using the UP / DOWN arrow button to reach number 1, and press button number 2 again.

Press EXIT on remote and select OK to SAVE

Press EXIT twice to return to normal

STRONG Model SRT4310

After Setting up your STRONG Decoder on your TV/Monitor,

Only use your STRONG Remote to do the following Procedure

Press the Menu button on your Remote
Press the Right or Left Arrow button until you see INSTALLATION
Go down to Transponder List and Press the OK Button
Go to Add Transponder and then Press the OK Button
Go to channel 27 and see ” Q” AND ” L ” in the bottom of your screen.
“Q” should be Yellow in colour
and ” L ” should be red in colour. ” L ” should be +- 80%, If not go down to step e

if it is, then Press the Red “SAT” button on your remote, “Scan mode”
will appear, then press the right arrow button until FTA appears and then
Press the OK button. Now go to Step Number 8
If it there is no signal on “Q” and “L”, then
Press the Yellow Button on your remote to Add a Frequency

change the Frequency to – 12522 and the

Symbol Rate to – 27500. If it does Not work, use 12422

Polarity must be – V (Not H)

Go down to the word Save and press the OK Button

Go to the New Frequency and press the red SAT button on your remote

“Scan Mode” will appear

Press the right arrow button until FTA appears then press the OK button

Press OK button on Save
Now Press the Exit button 4 times
Press the TV/Radio Blue Button on your remote
Go to radio channels
Press the Menu button. Now press the Right Arrow button till you see
” Channel Manager ” then press the Down Arrow button to move the Channel and press OK
Look for Markaz Sahaba then press the Yellow button on your remote and move it to number 1 by pressing button number 1 on your Remote
Press the Exit button 4 time

Motosat

Connect the decoder to a TV unit and use the TV remote to select the AV Channel until you find the Radio TV Picture.

Press menu on the Motosat Remote

Look for AUTO SCAN – If you do not see AUTO SCAN on the list, then press the right arrow button until you see the list with AUTO SCAN

Select AUTO SCAN

Go to FREE TO AIR and press the right arrow button until the word RADIO appears

Press ok

The decoder will start searching. After the search completes, press the EXIT Button on your remote twice

Press the menu button again and go to Radio Channel List. If this does not appear, then press the left arrow button. Select Radio Channel List

You will notice that number 1 will show NO SIGNAL (written ISLAM)

Now scroll down to Markaz Sahaba.

Move Markaz Sahaba to number 1 by pressing button number 2 (Pin Code 0000) and using the UP/DOWN arrow button to reach number 1, and press button number 2 again.

Press EXIT on remote and select ok to SAVE

Press EXIT twice to return to normal

Press OK on PAS7

Go down to manual search and press OK

Go down to next and press OK

Go down to start search

Press the exit button twice then press Radio TV button then look for Markaz Sahaba

Change the frequency to 12522. If this does not work then try 12422.

Go down to symbol rate S/R PRESS 27500

Make sure polarization is vertical

Search range is = to all/ free to air (FTA)

Search option = FAST press OK

Now press the red button on remote and OK to store

Wait till scan is alright then press OK

To move Markaz Sahaba press menu and go to channels editing

Press button number 3 on remote on Markaz Sahaba and go down to position one by using the up and down arrow buttons then press OK

To move Markaz Sahaba press the menu button then go to installation move down to channel manager and press OK

Go to channel edit

Press the red button on Markaz Sahaba

Press the up/down arrow button to move to position number 1 and then press OK

Press the exit button message to save will appear select OK

Notice options: select yes on FTA (press OK to search)

Scan channel TV plus radio

Network search = no

Press exit button 3 times

Press the TV radio button on the remote and look for Markaz Sahaba.

To move Markaz Sahaba to number 1 – press the menu button then go to edit channel and then go to Radio Channel list and press OK

Press the yellow button on the remote and press OK

Use the up/down arrow button to move to position number one then press OK

Press the exit button 3 times and press OK to save

Press Radio TV button and look for Markaz Sahaba.

Select radio TV button on remote and look for Markaz Sahaba.

To move Markaz Sahaba – press menu then go to channel manager

Go to edit channels

Press the green button to move Markaz Sahaba and press OK

Move down to position number 1 then press the red button then exit.

To move Markaz Sahaba to position 1 press menu, right arrow button until you reach edit channel

Enter pin code 0000

Go down to Radio Channel

Press yellow button on remote and press OK

Use the up/down button to move to position – number 1 and then press OK

Press exit to save

Select yes

Press exit 3 times

Select FTA

Press OK

Press the menu button on the ELSAT Remote (Edit channel will appear)

Press the down arrow button and then move down to Installation

Press the right arrow button and move down to TP LIST and then press OK

Scroll up to Number 27 = frequency 12522 if this does Not work, use 12422.

Notice signal strength will turn blue +-90% and signal quality will turn green in colour +- 70%

If correct go to step 12

If signal quality is Grey and Quality is LOW +- 5% then:

Press (F2) Green button on remote

Change frequency from 3000 to 12522

Go down to symbol rate and change from 100KS/s to 27500

Go down to polarity and change from H to V

Go down to save and press OK

Notice signal strength and quality will change colour – if not call installer for dish.

Now press F4 (blue button) on remote = search

Go up to FTA only and press Right arrow button and change to YES

Go down to scan channel and press Left arrow button to Radio. Network search = NO

Go down to OK & press OK

Search and YES – press OK – wait until scan is complete

Press exit button 3 (three) times to get back to main screen.

Press the menu button on remote and move up to edit Channel*

Press the right arrow button to move to Radio list then press OK

Look for Radio Islam 35K and press the OK button on it.

Now press F3 (Yellow) button on remote then press OK again – you will notice a double arrow on the right hand side of Radio Islam – 35K appearing.

Now move to position number 1 then press (F3) yellow button on remote* a message will appear “are you sure to save?” select YES then press OK

Now press exit button 3 (three) to exit setup and return to normal.

Press the menu button on the Radio Islam remote (Edit channel will appear)

Press the down arrow button and then move down to Installation

Press the right arrow button and move down to TP LIST and then press OK

Scroll up to Number 27 = frequency 12522 / 27500

Notice signal strength will turn blue +-90% and signal quality will turn green in colour +- 70%

If correct go to step 12

Change frequency from 3000 to 12522

Go down to symbol rate and change from 100KS/s to 27500

Press the menu button on remote and move up to edit Channel*

Press the right arrow button to move to Radio list then press OK

Look for Markaz Sahaba and press the OK button on it.

Now press F3 (Yellow) button on remote then press OK again – you will notice a double arrow on the right hand side of Radio Islam – 35K appearing.

Now move to position number 1 then press (F3) yellow button on remote* a message will appear “are you sure to save?” select YES then press OK

Now press exit button 3 (three) to exit setup and return to normal.

Connect the decoder to a TV unit and use the TV remote to select the AV Channel until you find the Radio Islam Picture.

Press menu on the Radio Islam Remote.

On the top-left of the Menu Bar the word ‘CHANNEL’ will appear – If the word ‘CHANNEL’ does NOT appear, then press the right/left arrow button untill the word ‘CHANNEL’ appears.

The following will show:

* TV Channel

* Radio Channel

* Add Channel

Scroll down to ‘ADD CHANNEL’ and press OK on Radio Islam Remote.

Go down to FREQUENCY and enter 12522. If this does not work then try 12422 and press OK.

Now go down to SYMBOL RATE and type-in 27500 and press OK.

When search is over press OK.

Now press the exit button once only.

Scroll up to ‘RADIO CHANNEL’ and press OK.

Scroll UP / DOWN and look for Markaz Sahaba . (* Note: RIslam_33k on number 1 will NOT work because that was the old settings.)

Move Markaz Sahaba to number 1 by pressing button number 2 (Pin Code 0000) and using the UP / DOWN arrow button to reach number 1, and press button number 2 again.

Press EXIT on remote and select ok to SAVE

Press EXIT twice to return to normal

Connect the decoder to a TV unit and use the TV remote to select the AV Channel until you find the Radio Islam Picture.

Press menu on the Radio Islam Remote.

On the top-left of the Menu Bar the word ‘CHANNEL’ will appear – If the word ‘CHANNEL’ does NOT appear, then press the right/left arrow button untill the word ‘CHANNEL’ appears.

The following will show:

* TV Channel

* Radio Channel

* Add Channel

Scroll down to ‘ADD CHANNEL’ and press OK on Radio Islam Remote.

Go down to FREQUENCYand enter 12522. If this does not work then try 12422 and press OK.

Now go down to SYMBOL RATE and type-in 26650 and press OK.

When search is over press OK.

Now press the exit button once only.

Scroll up to ‘RADIO CHANNEL’ and press OK.

Scroll UP / DOWN and look for Markaz Sahaba . (* Note: RIslam_33k on number 1 will NOT work because that was the old settings.)

Move Markaz Sahaba to number 1 by pressing button number 2 (Pin Code 0000) and using the UP / DOWN arrow button to reach number 1, and press button number 2 again.

Press EXIT on remote and select ok to SAVE

Press EXIT twice to return to normal
