US gives thumbs up to ‘Israeli’ death squads

The US has agreed to give “Israeli” death squads a pass after they’d been fingered to possible sanctions over their genocidal actions in Gaza.

It made it clear Tuesday that weapons would continue flowing to the entire “Israeli” military and police after a sudden scare sparked by an earlier investigation into the Netzah Yehuda unit. Is had found the unit guilty of human rights abuses before the start of the Gaza genocide.

State Department spokesperson, Vedant Patel, said the probe “found five Israeli units responsible for individual incidents of gross human rights violations. All of these were incidents much before October 7 and none took place in Gaza”.

But, now, they’re off the hook. Apparently, they’ve improved since the start of the genocide.

According to Patel, “Four of these units have effectively remediated these violations, which is what we expect partners to do … For a remaining unit, we continue to be in consultations and engagements with the government of Israel.”

Others that haven’t been remediated? The Biden administration, after finding three battalions to be violating human rights and taking the decision to sanction it, decided simply not to proceed with punitive measures.

After being exposed for “gross human rights violations” against Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank, they will walk away free, ABC News reported.

US Secretary of State Antony Binken informed US House Speaker Mike Johnson of the decision, saying only their actions would not impede or delay the delivery of any assistance to the Israeli occupation.
