Hundreds Of Israeli Colonizers Storm The Courtyards Of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Hundreds of illegal Israeli colonizers, accompanied by dozens of soldiers and police officers, stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, while the soldiers imposed restrictions on Palestinian worshipers trying to enter the holy site.

The Palestinian Islamic Waqf Department stated that the invasion was carried out by 626 colonizers who entered the courtyards in several groups.

It added that one of the colonizers carried an Israeli flag while chanting racist slogans, while the soldiers and the police stopped and interrogated many Palestinians, trying to enter the holy site.

In addition, the police abducted one Palestinian for “praying in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa” during the invasion.

Azzam al-Khatib, the general director of the Waqf Department, said the soldiers and the police turned the courtyards into what looked like a military base, due to the extensive deployment to accompany the colonizers.

The Palestinian Jerusalem Affairs Ministry warned of the constant Israeli attempts to change the historic status quo in Al-Aqsa, especially amidst the ongoing and escalating invasions and violations in the holy site.
