LESSON 1
We begin In The Name Of Allah Ta’laa, The Most Compassionate, The Most Merciful

Our Creator instructs us “Iqraa”- Read !
Surah 96 – Al-Alaq – Ayah 1-5 (Quraan)
Read with the name of your Lord who created (everything),
He created man from a clot of blood.
Read, and your Lord is the most gracious,
who imparted knowledge by means of the pen.
He taught man what he did not know
Interesting to know that when a person intends to read, he loves to read that which is authentic and trashes that which is doubtful. Allah Ta’laa therefore removes these doubts in the beginning of the 2nd page of the Quraan
“That Book has no doubt in it – a guidance for the God- fearing” (2:2)
Therefore, almost at every juncture man is encouraged to acknowledge his feebleness and put his trust in the Almighty, The Creator, Allah Ta’laa and this creates a sense of security within a person. Prostrate with a tear to Your Lord so you can stand up to face that which you fear. This continuous fear needs to be directed and once effort is made in this line, then our souls will be a bit more at ease. Let’s take the instance of exiting the house the supplication is as follows:
SUPPLICATION WHEN LEAVING THE HOME: (Print and place at door of your house before leaving)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِاللَّهِ. ـ
“In the Name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, there is no might or power except by Allah.” (Tirmidhi)
Transliteration: Bees-millahi- Tawwakaltu A’lallahi, Laa Howla Wa Laa Quwwata illa Billah
At this juncture important to know what is our Major Title in this world and that is to say “I am the slave of Allah Ta’laa” and that is defined by Your Lord
And I did not create the Jinns and the human beings except that they should worship Me (Allah Ta’laa). (51:56 – Al-Quraan)
We have now identified we have an objective and our title for our presence in this worldly life therefore to progress with this frame of mind establishes a form of ease

Prophet Muhammed peace be upon him said,
“How amazing is the condition of a believer. Everything is to his advantage and this is enjoyed by none except for the believer. When he experiences happiness, he is grateful and it is to his advantage. When he experiences distress, he is patient and it is to his advantage” (Muslim)
Gratitude
This path which is straight and no crookedness can be found in it, demands a great degree of gratitude to Al- Haadi ( The Provider Of Guidance), Allah Ta’laa, as this guidance only comes from Him alone, no intellect nor any form of compensation can achieve this title of being a Mu’min(Believer) but comes from divinely from Him alone
